Concept of System Thinking

   Education in Denis’ School is an integrated well-developed and fine-tuned system dedicated to one target – achieving your objectives in learning a foreign language. And there are no small things in the process.

All links of the chain are connected and the system is an integrated optimal process  developed during long period of successful operation of our School.

The process consists of:

• System of levels we offer to cover,  
• System of lessons you attend,
• Unique system of teacher training for every teacher leading you to reach your targets,
• System of training sets (books and materials) you use when you learn,  
• System of your time arrangement dedicated to your reaching targets outside the classroom,  
• System of independent evaluation of your knowledge and skills.

 All the systems are parts of united and integrated process, instruments polished and sharpened for only one purpose – YOUR Purpose in learning a language.

Concept of considering student’s individual traits and abilities

   Every person is unique, everybody has his own unique traits which can either help us to reach our targets or be an obstacle on the way. Besides, all of us have had our own experience in learning a foreign language and attitude to it. We have our own individual inner understanding why we need the foreign language. But not everybody realizes his/her own abilities and traits and sometimes we don’t see our targets clearly and well-defined.

   From the very beginning we help you not only define your starting level to learn a language, but together with you we outline your purpose of studies, clarifying  and defining it together. Our specialists are trained with technologies allowing them to understand your personal traits and abilities and guide you by relying on your personal strengths, helping you reach maximal results. System of considering our students’ personal traits and abilities is multisided. Here is an example of one of it’s sides: we apply the technology of considering channels of perception to simplify the way to learn the information you need.

Concept of levels 

   It’s impossible to learn everything and immediately, at ones. To make the climbing to the Perfect Language pick enjoyable and the pick accessible, all the process is divided into levels which absolutely correlate with International Standards in objectives and language material. The levels are called according the standard ones for International Examination systems. This is obviously convenient.
   All authoring training programs are arranged with levels. Every level covers 90 academic hours (3 months studies). The concept of levels allows to focus of the targets which are actual personally for YOU, and not to waste the time on explaining and learing the things YOU already know, as well as not giving you the information surplus for you.
   We act according to the principle: we give our student only sufficient information, “necessary and enough” to develop skills and master all language patterns (vocabulary, phrases, grammar) accordingly. What is the level You start learning with us, depends on you, Your starting point.

Concept of integrity

  Thanks to authoring DS method, DS courses are integrated. It means that their target is active development of all the skills necessary for confident using a foreign language. They are: speaking, listening, reading and writing.  The training set of books and integrated materials especially developed by Denis’ School professionals immensely help to reach the study’s objectives.  Every student gets a unique DS training complex as a present. The training set includes Grammar Book, special vocabulary book “Target vocabulary and grammar!” In Pictures, Vocabulary cards set to learn and revise words and phrases, Student’s book and audio discs as support for learning.  Using the set, you have the right to choose what to focus more attention on, which skill you need most and which one needs polishing most.

  What we note here is that without speaking and ability to understand the person you are talking to, only with ability to read and write one cannot say “I know a foreign language!”. This is the reason why we pay so much attention to these skills when create practice for you at class and exercises  for training sets.

The concept of frequency

  The authoring training courses are based on the frequency concept. The language patterns (grammar, vocabulary, phrases) more frequently used in the live modern language and so the most useful for communication, are learned and trained as the priority in the first place. More details …
